Red gold. This is how saffron is often called, a spice taken from the stigmas of Crocus Sativus and used by dyers since ancient times. The fabrics dyed in the characteristic yellow gold were a symbol of wealth, used by the nobles, but also for traditional Japanese clothes and the robes of Buddhist monks.
 
This pure silk scarf is born from a co-lab with the team of Zafferano Monticiano, and is hand-dyed with saffron stems cultivated just outside Rome. The dye is 100% natural and artisanal. The hem is left unfinished to maintain the lightness of the fabric. It can be worn as a scarf , as a belt or as a top in many differents ways around the body. Measurements 200x33 cm.
Each scarf is a unique piece. Some color imperfections on the fabric show the natural and artisanal manufacture of the items and should not be intended as product defects.
Hand wash in cold water and let it dry in the shadow.

Oro rosso. Così viene spesso chiamato lo zafferano, spezia ricavata dagli stimmi del Crocus Sativus e utilizzata dai tintori fin dall'antichità. I tessuti tinti nel caratteristico oro giallo erano un simbolo di ricchezza, usati dai nobili, ma anche per gli abiti tradizionali giapponesi e le vesti dei monaci buddisti. 
 
Questo foulard in pura seta, creato in collaborazione con i ragazzi di Zafferano Monticiano, è tinto a mano con steli di zafferano coltivati alle porte di Roma. La tintura è 100% naturale e artigianale. L'orlo è lasciato al grezzo per mantenere la leggerezza del tessuto. Può essere indossato come sciarpa, cintura o top in molti modi diversi attorno al corpo. Misure 200x33 cm. 
Ogni sciarpa è un pezzo unico. Alcune imperfezioni di colore sul tessuto mostrano la lavorazione naturale e artigianale degli articoli e non devono essere intese come difetti del prodotto. Lavare a mano in acqua fredda e lasciare asciugare all'ombra. Pronto per la consegna in scatola regalo.
